What does Optimize do?
The Optimize function enhances computer performance. When you launch an application, the system allocates more memory for this process than the application actually requires. The Optimization function returns this unused memory to the system so that it is available for other tasks. MAXpc allows you to enable/disable many specific optimization settings to speed up processes according to your preferences.
